The Maroon Clownfish, also known as the Spine-Cheeked Anemonefish or Maroon Anemonefish, has a bold, red body color with a broad white stripe on the forehead, and white stripes on its midsection and in front of the anal fin.
Size and Lifespan
The Maroon Clownfish grow up to be about 6 inches and can live between 3-5 years with proper care.
Tank Size and Requirements
Maroon clownfish typically require a minimum of a 30-gallon tank. However, a larger tank (55 gallons or more) is recommended, especially if you plan to house a pair or add other tank mates.
Diet
The Maroon Clownfish diet consists of meaty items such as frozen shrimp and herbivore preparations.
