Sterbai Corydoras, also known as Sterbai Corys, are small, peaceful, bottom-dwelling catfish that are popular in aquariums.They have a distinctive appearance with a brownish gray body with an overlay of spots, stripes and reticulations and orange peach fins.They are known for their beautiful pattern and are quite popular among aquarium enthusiasts.
Size and Lifespan
They growing to an average length up to around 2.5 inches in the aquarium. With the proper care, their lifespan can be between 3-5 years!
Tank Size and Requirements
We recommend a tank that is 10 gallons for a small school of at least 3, but preferably 6 of these cuties! As a peaceful species, corys generally do well with most tankmates.
Diet
Sterbai corydoras accept a wide range of prepared wafer, flake, and pellet foods designed with bottom-feeders in mind. They also eat frozen or freeze-dried meaty foods, including invertebrates and insects.
