The Gold Stripe Cory Catfish, also known as the Gold Laser Cory Catfish, is a relatively newfound species. It is rare in the aquarium hobby, but is in high demand due to its coloration of a metallic green body with a thick neon yellow stripe along its shoulder and side.
Size and Lifespan
Growing to an average length up to around 2 inches in the aquarium. With the proper care, their lifespan can be between 5-8 years!
Tank Size and Requirements
We recommend a tank that is 10 gallons for a small school of at least 3, but preferably 6 of these cuties! As a peaceful species, corys generally do well with most tankmates.
Diet
Gold Laser corydoras accept a wide range of prepared wafer, flake, and pellet foods designed with bottom-feeders in mind. They also eat frozen or freeze-dried meaty foods, including invertebrates and insects.
