The Panda corydora is an excellent addition to many tropical freshwater aquariums. A beautiful catfish that has distinctive black markings, resembling a panda’s coloration.
Size and Lifespan
Growing to an average length up to around 2.5 inches in the aquarium. With the proper care, their lifespan can be between 5-10 years!
Tank Size and Requirements
We recommend a tank that is 10 gallons for a small school of at least 3, but preferably 6 of these cuties! As a peaceful species, corys generally do well with most tankmates.
Diet
Panda corydoras accept a wide range of prepared wafer, flake, and pellet foods designed with bottom-feeders in mind. They also eat frozen or freeze-dried meaty foods, including invertebrates and insects.
