The Panda corydora is an excellent addition to many tropical freshwater aquariums. A beautiful catfish that has distinctive black markings, resembling a panda’s coloration. This is the long fin variation, which means they have longer, more flowy fins!
Size and Lifespan
Growing to an average length up to around 2.5 inches in the aquarium. With the proper care, their lifespan can be between 5-10 years!
Tank Size and Requirements
We recommend a tank that is 10 gallons for a small school of at least 3, but preferably 6 of these cuties! As a peaceful species, corys generally do well with most tankmates.
Diet
Panda corydoras accept a wide range of prepared wafer, flake, and pellet foods designed with bottom-feeders in mind. They also eat frozen or freeze-dried meaty foods, including invertebrates and insects.
